Centrifugal sieves are ideal for safety control sieving in high-tonnage production lines, to remove impurities and defects from the product. In the food sector they are used for sieving flours, sugars, essences, spices, additives, etc., in the plastics sector for sieving raw materials, and in the chemical or pharmaceutical sector for sieving medicines and base products.
Thanks to its compact design, it can be installed on production lines before the bagging or packaging process, guaranteeing the granulometry of your product with the 100%.
The operating system is simple: the product is introduced through the top opening, which advances it via a screw conveyor to the center of the metal or nylon mesh cylinder. There, paddles rotating at 750 rpm distribute the product across the entire surface. All particles smaller than the selected mesh size pass through and fall into a lower hopper for removal. Particles larger than the mesh size continue along the cylinder and are deposited in a second hopper, or reject hopper.
