Description
Laboratory hammer mill with a robust design, using solid milled parts and hardened components that are designed for high wear.
It consists of a rotor with three hardened strikers and a slotted stator.
During the grinding process, the sample is rotated around the grinding chamber and beaten to the desired particle size.
The sample passes through the sieve into the collection vessel.
Particles that are larger than the sieve perforations remain in the mill and can be easily removed by opening the grinding chamber.
Ideal for dry processes, brittle and grease-free materials such as:
- Dried grains
- Oats
- Malta
- Pectin
- Beans
- Dried beans
- Fish skeletons
- Walnut shells
- Rocks, amber, ceramics, etc.
Wet samples or samples with high fat content stick to the sieve and the chamber and cannot be ground properly.
