The ball mill produces fractionation by the impact of the balls against the sample as they describe a semi-circular orbit, driven by the drum's rotation. The insulated drums prevent sample contamination. Its design and function make it suitable for grinding applications in public works laboratories, paint manufacturing, ceramics production, and the grinding of raw materials for the manufacture of pharmaceuticals and food products.
