The Levenhuk Rainbow 2L microscopes offer 40x-400x magnification, just what children need to begin their first biology investigations. Thanks to their combined top and bottom illumination, these microscopes are suitable for observing transparent, semi-transparent, and opaque objects—the range of possible samples is as vast as the young researcher's imagination! The microscope body is lightweight, made of plastic, yet equally reliable. Each Levenhuk Rainbow 2L microscope comes with a Levenhuk K50 experiment kit.

This range also includes a digital microscope model, which allows you to prepare impressive images and videos of the observed microorganisms.

The kit includes three objectives. The highest magnification objective (40x) is equipped with a spring that protects the lens. Even if the objective is lowered too far, touching the sample, it will retract, preventing damage to the lens. The kit also includes a 2x Barlow lens, which doubles the magnification. The standard microscope configuration provides magnifications of 64x, 128x, 160x, 320x, 640x, and 1280x!
