Levenhuk Rainbow 2L microscopes have a magnification of 40x-400x, just enough for children to carry out their first biology investigations. Thanks to their combined illumination (top and bottom) these microscopes are suitable for observing transparent, semi-transparent and opaque objects - the variety of possible samples will be as wide as the young researcher's imagination! The microscope body is lightweight, made of plastic but equally reliable. Each Levenhuk Rainbow 2L microscope is delivered with a Levenhuk K50 experiment kit.
This range also includes a digital microscope model, which allows the preparation of impressive images and videos of the microorganisms observed.
The kit includes three objectives. The highest magnification objective (40xs) is equipped with a spring that protects the lens. Even in the event that you lower the objective too far, touching the specimen, the objective will retract, preventing damage to the lens. The kit also includes a 2x Barlow lens, which doubles the magnification. The standard microscope configuration provides magnifications of 64x, 128x, 160x, 320x, 640x and 1280x!
