Description

The Levenhuk MED 10B is a laboratory achromatic microscope with a binocular head. It is designed for professional work with microscope slides and can be used for various tasks in clinics, scientific centers, research or medical laboratories, and educational institutions. The microscope features achromatic optics that allow observations at magnifications up to 1000x. This microscope is suitable for studying bacteria and cellular structures.

The binocular head is tilted at a 30° angle, allowing for comfortable, extended observations. The head rotates 360°.

The eyepieces and objectives are made of optical glass and have an antifungal coating. The eyepieces provide 10x magnification and a wide field of view, allowing for working with large specimens. The microscope has achromatic objective lenses. The magnification is changed by rotating a revolving nosepiece. The 100x objective lens can be used for oil immersion observations (a tube of immersion oil is included in the kit). The higher magnification objective lenses have a retractable edge.

The samples are placed on a stage using a mechanical micrometer. The stage can be moved along two axes. There are controls for both approximate and precise sharpness adjustment. The illumination system is located beneath the stage and consists of a bright 5-watt LED lamp. Between the lamp and the sample is an Abbe condenser with an iris diaphragm and a filter holder.

The lighting is powered by an AC power supply. The lighting system also allows for brightness adjustment.
The Levenhuk MED 10B microscope is suitable for observing bacteria and cell structures as well as examining microscope samples in a laboratory.
