Description
The Levenhuk MED 10B is a laboratory achromatic microscope with a binocular head. It is designed for professional work with microscope slides and can be used for various tasks in clinics, scientific centers, research or medical laboratories, and educational institutions. The microscope is equipped with achromatic optics, which enables observations with a magnification of up to 1000x. This microscope is suitable for studying bacteria and cell structures.
The binocular head is arranged with an inclination angle of 30°, which allows for comfortable long-term observation. The head is 360° rotatable.
The eyepieces and objectives are made of optical glass and have an antifungal coating. The eyepieces provide 10x magnification and a wide field of view that allows working with large specimens. The microscope has achromatic objective lenses installed. The degree of magnification is changed by turning a revolving nosepiece. The 100x lens can be used for oil immersion observations (an immersion oil tube is included in the kit). The higher magnification objective lenses have a retractable edge.
The specimens are arranged on a stage with the aid of a mechanical micrometer. The stage can be moved along two axes. There are knobs for coarse and fine adjustment of the sharpness. The illumination system is located below the stage and consists of a bright 5 watt LED lamp. Between the lamp and the specimen, there is an Abbe condenser with an iris diaphragm and a filter holder.
The illumination is powered by an AC power supply. The illumination system also allows brightness adjustment.
The Levenhuk MED 10B microscope is suitable for observing bacteria and cell structures as well as examining microscope specimens in a laboratory.
