Description
The MW301 EC meter is a portable EC meter, supplied with a probe with 1 meter of cable, a 9V battery. It is suitable for field measurements. Ideal for sectors such as hydroponics, agriculture, aquariums, fish farming, water treatment, laboratories, education.
The MW301 EC meter has a scale from 0 to 1990 uS/cm; temperature compensated, an accuracy of 2uS/cm.
Operation of the EC meter MW301
- The meter is delivered complete with a 9V battery. Open the battery compartment cover on the back of the meter. Insert the battery respecting the correct polarity.
- Connect the lance to the socket on top of the meter.
- Make sure the meter was calibrated before use.
- Immerse the head of the EC/TDS lance in the liquid provided (4 cm) in the liquid provided. Preferably, use a plastic container to avoid EMC interference.
- Turn the meter on by pressing the ON/OFF button.
- Before measuring, wait a few seconds for the sensor to pick up the ambient temperature,
- After use, the meter should be turned off, the lance sensor cleaned and dried. For better cleaning, alcohol may be used.
