Description

Counting colonies with the naked eye is a slow, tedious and eye-damaging task. IUL's colony counter facilitates and speeds up this process through the use of LED illumination and a high quality magnifier. Any microbiology lab involved in colony enumeration will find this tool absolutely vital. Petri dishes are inserted into the colony counter where they are properly illuminated and magnified. Operators can mark detected colonies with a specifically designed marker, while a digital display will magnify total counts. Pointers that can come in direct contact with the colonies are also available.
