The PCR cabinet has been specifically designed for genetic amplification work using the PCR (polymerase chain reaction) technique.

The inclusion of a timer and the three 15W ultraviolet light tubes allows for the complete sterilization of the material deposited inside, as well as the entire work surface, preventing possible cross-contamination between DNA or RNA samples, which can lead to false positives.

The 4mm thick tempered glass acts as a filter, protecting personnel and the environment from UV radiation exposure. In case of accidental opening of the front of the cabin, the UV lamps automatically switch off for total operator protection.
