The MW700 is supplied with a light sensor connected to the meter that measures 0 to 50000 Lux. The average indoor illumination ranges from 100 to 1000 Lux and the average outdoor illumination is over 50,000 Lux. Lux is a unit indicating the density of light falling on a surface.
