Static separators

The static separator is the ideal machine for separating solids in wastewater of any type. The static separator does not use any motor and as it does not need electrical installation it can be placed anywhere. It is a simple, affordable, yet highly efficient instrument that can work for a long time without supervision and without clogging. The filtration is performed through a triangular profile screen, consisting of triangular-shaped horizontal bars, separating the liquid from the solid that flows downwards thanks to the kinetic energy. The distance between the bars can vary from 0.25 to 3mm depending on the material to be separated. Screens can be flat or curved. The use of curved screens has multiple advantages, such as a uniform entry into the screen (using its entire surface), a high flow velocity of the screen and an increase in the effectiveness of the classification.
